Pay Information


Pay is made up of mileage rates plus additional flat rates for load required wash, trailer conversional, load required layovers, fuel surcharge, etc. 

Average running mileage rates (as of April 2026):


  • Blumenort, MB: $2.87/mile
  • Brandon, MB: $2.98/mile
  • Red Deer, AB: $3.00/mile

Fleet Information

Lane: Operate across Canada. Primarily operating within Alberta to Quebec. US Qualified drivers may also operate in the Midwest US.

Average Mileage: Drivers can expect 7,000-9,000 miles per month. 

Schedule: On the road for up to 14-nights in a row. On longer loads, resets may be required on the road but most resets happen at home.

Regional work is assigned between longer loads. 

Commodities: We primarily haul hogs but you may also haul cattle, bison or sheep.


Training Information

We provide in-cab training for all new hires. Training is a mix of focusing on driving habits and animal handling techniques. It is typically 2-weeks of local, daily loads in your tractor.s

Training is paid at full mileage rates. 

Deductions

Fuel: Fuel cards provided by the company, fuel is deducted at our cost from the tractor.

Plates & Deductible Buy Down: $390/month (accident deductible is $2,500)

Insurance: 2.6% of revenue

Admin Fee: Starts at 1.6%, reduced with seniority

Prorate Vehicle Tax (PVT): Charged by IRP upon licensing unit and annually when we renew licensing (Feb/Mar).

Tractor Age: Preferably 10 years old or newer. Exceptions will be made if trucks are well-maintained. Must be able to run an ELD

Fifth Wheel Height: 46-48"

Weight: Max 20,000lbs (9,071 kgs) full of fuel

Front Bumper: Min 6" ground clearance

Emissions System: Cannot be deleted
